Our Story Through Time
Founded on Real Market Experience
joracocorium started when Rocco Pemberton noticed a massive gap between what investors needed to know about financial reporting and what was actually being taught. After spending years analyzing quarterly reports for institutional clients, he realized that most individual investors were flying blind when it came to reading between the lines of corporate financial statements.
The initial idea was simple but powerful: create educational content that bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application. We began with weekend workshops in Belfast, teaching small groups how to spot red flags in annual reports and understand what management wasn't saying directly.
Rocco Pemberton
Founder & Lead Instructor
"I spent ten years watching investors make decisions based on headlines rather than actual financial data. That's when I knew we needed to change how people learn about financial analysis."
Building Comprehensive Learning Programs
By 2022, our approach had evolved significantly. We'd helped hundreds of investors develop stronger analytical skills, and the feedback consistently pointed toward one thing: people wanted deeper, more structured learning experiences.
This led to our first comprehensive curriculum covering everything from cash flow analysis to sector-specific reporting standards. We also established partnerships with several UK investment firms who began referring their clients for educational support.
Expanding Educational Impact
Today, joracocorium represents something we're genuinely proud of: a learning community where people develop real skills for understanding financial markets. We've moved beyond basic workshops to offer intensive programs that mirror the analytical processes used by professional fund managers.
What sets us apart isn't just the curriculum—it's the practical focus. Students work with actual company reports, analyze real market scenarios, and learn to spot the subtle indicators that separate informed investors from those just following trends.
